What if my kid wants to “play up” at a higher level?
Players may “play up” one level in Fall if they are advanced and seek a challenge. Decide before you register, there is no movement between levels allowed once teams are set in August.

If my kid “plays up” will he/she automatically get to play that higher level in Spring?
Nope. The level your child plays in Fall has no bearing on the level they play in Spring. They must still meet age and tryout requirements in Spring, even if they played that level in Fall.

What are the different levels?

AA Minors | New Minors

Mainly League Age 9. League Age 8 may "play up." Players with no kid pitch experience. Designed to give former Rookies League players experience with live pitching.

Mainly League Age 10&11. League Age 9 may "play up." Players who already played in AA or AAA and anticipate playing in the AAA in the Spring season.

Majors

League Age 10, 11&12. Players who anticipate playing in the Majors in the Spring season.
