FAQs

When is Fall Ball?
The season runs for roughly all of September and October. The schedule is simple: one practice Saturday and one game or practice on Sunday. Registration starts in August, and space is limited. Late fees are charged after the initial sign-up window.

When is the Fall Ball Season?
Fall Ball season starts with first practice on  September 10th. Teams and schedules will be announced by Labor Day.

What if my kid plays soccer, or can’t make it every weekend?
Fall Ball is a more flexible program than Spring. If your child will make at least half of the Fall Ball season, you should sign up, your manager will understand. Every effort is made to ensure that practices and games do NOT conflict with the Ross Valley Soccer schedule.

What if I’m not sure, or my kid changes their mind?
Some Fall Ball levels sold out, so sign up early if your child may be interested. Refunds (minus a processing fee) may be granted at the league’s discretion if they decide to drop out.

What level should my kid sign up for?
Teams will be split into divisions depending on “league age”. Use this LINK to identify the players "league age"
Note: Fall Ball age is based on your child’s age in the following Spring baseball season.

What if my kid wants to “play up” at a higher level?
Players may “play up” one level in Fall if they are advanced and seek a challenge. Decide before you register, there is no movement between levels allowed once teams are set in August.

If my kid “plays up” will he/she automatically get to play that higher level in Spring?
Nope. The level your child plays in Fall has no bearing on the level they play in Spring. They must still meet age and tryout requirements in Spring, even if they played that level in Fall.

What are the different levels?
