Here's what you'll need for the day of tryouts...

1.  Baseball equipment- hat, glove, rubber cleats/turf shoes, and a water bottle.  We will have helmets and bats for those that need them.  ***All new bats must be approved by RVLL and can only be used once approved.  Board members will be present to approve bats at tryouts.***

2.   Each player will be given a number that they must wear for tryouts.  AVOID shirts with screenprinting on the front as the adhesive could pull off graphics.

**PARENTS-Please check your player in at the registration table and have a seat away from the field.  NO PARENTS ON THE FIELD**

STEP UP CANDIDATES ATTEND ONLY ONE TRYOUT AT THE LEVEL THEY ASPIRE TO PLAY IN.

Please remind your players, that while tryouts may be stressful for some, we’re all playing this game because it’s FUN.  There are no cuts in Little League.  There are many aspects to the game that coaches look for other than the end results our youth are accustomed to viewing on television.  Remind them it’s Little League baseball and good technique, great effort and a smile can take you just as far.  RVLL’s tryout process allows for players to be placed at developmentally appropriate levels and create a balancing of teams to yield the most rewarding baseball experience.

Drafts will take place after the tryouts for each level of play.  You should be contacted by early-February.

NOTE:  Please remember we are guests at Marin Catholic.  Please keep all FOOD off the fields .Pick up all trash and be responsible for your equipment.  NO SEEDS.

Interested in volunteering or becoming a sponsor, please see Janna Warren at the registration table.

We look forward to seeing you Saturday, January 25th!

Sincerely,

Steve Pulido
